So why did Motorola scrap the launch of the
ROKR iTunes phone last week? Scott Moritz over at The Street talks about the dirty little secret about putting iTunes on cellphones: the carriers totally aren't feeling it. Why? Because they want to be the ones selling music downloads to their subscribers, not Apple, and so a phone that plugs directly into the iTunes Music Store totally cuts them out of that revenue stream.
