Sprint EV-DO coming in Q3 2005

We swore we wouldn't reveal how we found this out, but we've just learned that
Sprint is planning a big rollout for their high-speed EV-DO network beginning sometime in the third quarter of this year (it might be a few more months before their network is ready, but that hasn't stopped them from selling
Sierra Wireless's laptop EV-DO
card). We're still trying to dig up a list of the cities where they'll be launching EV-DO, but the one thing that does seem fairly certain is that Sprint is going to price their EV-DO service so it'll be competitive with
Verizon, who have had EV-DO available in a bunch of different cities for months now.
