Toshiba's Portege S100

Toshiba busted out a new sort of ultralight laptop today, the Portege S100. This baby probably won't rock your world, but at 4.38 pounds the S100 is their lightest laptop yet with both an optical drive and a 14.1-inch LCD screen.
Also comes with built-in 802.11b/g, a 40GB hard drive, a piddly 256MB of DDR2 RAM (you can max it out to 2GB), a 1.73GHz Pentium M processor, and Toshiba's new HDD Protection System, which puts the S100's hard drive into a special protected mode whenever it detects sudden acceleration in any direction, like you throwing it against a wall in frustration (not that you'd ever do that).
