Ok, so it's not actually the very first DVD player to sport built-in 802.11g, (Zensonic beat them to the punch with their Z500 player a few months ago, and Gateway added support for 802.11g adapters to their Connected DVD
Player over a year ago), but Buffalo Technology's new LinkTheater PC-P3WG/DVD 54Mbit/s Wireless Media Player with DVD has got it going on anyway. Besides being a networked DVD player that can stream audio and video files trapped on your PC, the LinkTheater also has a USB 2.0 port for connecting up and external hard drive (so you can rock it digital entertainment hub-style), support for playback of XviD, DivX, DivX HD, WMV, and WMV HD video files, and the ability to upconvert its video output to 720p/1080i.
