Using iCards to send email in a pinch
File this one under "It's so clever, it's a wonder I didn't think of it myself."
Mac User Groups (MUGs) are filled with clever people. I should know... I'm an active board member in my local MUG.
If you're concerned about security (and you should be), and need to send a quick email from a public terminal, you don't need to risk your email password being snagged by evildoers in order to do it.
The MUG Center has a neat tip on using
iCards to send short messages when you're on the go. You don't even need a mac.com email address – Apple's iCards can be sent by anyone and the return address can be whatever address you wish to use. And if you CC yourself, you'll even have a record of what you sent.
Unless your email is intended to be a letter of resignation, you probably want to avoid sending
this one to your boss.
