Powerbook Apple Motion Sensor as game controller

Amit Singh had figured out the inner workings of the Powerbooks' line of
Apple Motion Sensors a while back, and has now come up with a useful application to take advantage of the feature. AMS2HID takes the output from the AMS orientation data and translates it into input data from a keyboard or mouse — which essentially means you can control practically any application via the actual physical movement of your Powerbook. This wouldn't be too helpful in composing your next Powerpoint masterpiece or anything, but when applied to things like games with directional controls, something pretty interesting happens — imagine controlling your favorite car racing app by just picking up your Powerbook and tilting it to achieve turning, acceleration and braking. Or, instead of imagining, you could just go download AMS2HID and give it a try, or peep the videos below showing the application in action in several games. The utility's other immediate application is for use in scrolling applications such as browsers, where you could manipulate the scrollbar by picking up the laptop and rocking it back and forth. Hey Apple — can you just support this natively in the next Powerbook rev
(can we getta G5?)? Thanks.
