Samsung's very Long Distance Cordless Phone

That 300 feet range you're getting out of your current cordless phone not cutting it? It's not entirely clear whether it's actually legal to use here in the US (at least for non-marine purposes), but a company called InterTel is selling a cordless phone kit that they claim has a maximum range of 130km. That's obviously going to only happen under perfectly ideal conditions (and you'll have to deal with getting strange looks from people who think you can't afford to upgrade your cellphone), but supposedly with the right antenna you should be able to get at least 5 to 10 miles out of the Samsung Long Range Cordless Phone.
