Expansion Solutions' Empire Series Media Center with built-in 1000 watt amplifier

And while we're obsessing over new Media Center PCs this morning, there's another worthy new competitor available,
this one the new Empire Series Media Center from Expansion Solutions. By this point yet another new Media Center PC is nothing special, but this one's got something we've never, ever seen before in a Media Center PC: a built-in 1000 Watt amplifier, which is supposed to help deal with any signal degradation that comes from multiple digital to analog conversions. The rest of what you get isn't bad either: 3.04GHz Pentium 4 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, 5.1 channel surround sound, and an optional old school VU meter, but expect to drop around four large. Integrated amps don't come cheap.
