PyMusique returns

PyMusique is back in effect. That is, at least until the engineers over at Apple figure out another way to block the software, which lets you buy songs from the iTunes Music Store without any of that funny DRM aftertaste. As we mentioned yesterday, Apple broke PyMusique over the weekend, in the process implementing a new security patch that requires anyone who wants to make a purchase from the iTunes Music Store to upgrade to iTunes 4.7 (we cover why that could be considered a most unfortunate side effect
here). DVD Jon, one of PyMusique's creators, wasn't about to let that stand, and so today hit back with an update for PyMusique that works around the block on non-iTunes 4.7 connections to the iTunes Music Store. Expect a few more rounds of cat & mouse between Apple and Jon before some crazed Norwegian Apple fan decides to "solve" Stevie J.'s problem for him.
