The scoop on iTunes Custom Cards

If you're interested in learning more about the very
Custom iTunes Cards I mentioned last week, Apple has given Playlist the full scoop – so

There's also a new page up on Apple's website featuring
program details and contact info for bands that want their own cards. The band chooses the tunes, albums or playlists they want to promote and Apple takes care of the design and printing. Once Apple ships you the cards, you are free to distribute them to your adoring (or prospective)
fans.

I said it before and I will say it again: This is absofrigginlutely brilliant from a marketing perspective. I
can see these becoming as pervasive as baseball cards and they are a heck of a lot better than those stupid,
slot-loading optical drive killing business card CD-ROMs that were popular for 10 minutes.
