It's an article about Hilton as in hotel, where they're busy replacing the standard-issue radios found in their rooms with stereo devices with line-in jacks for plugging in portable music players. Kudos to them for opting for a standard jack instead of a
proprietary interface — as
GM is starting to do in the auto industry — even though the promotions they're doing around this move are largely
iPod-related. It's a good trend to see this large hotel chain taking cue from new technologies and waking up to the shifting landscape away from broadcast-only media.
