Smarthome's new MP3 watch

So it's actually been a while since we covered any
MP3-playing watches, perhaps because
MP3 phones are really hogging up the limelight these days. Fret not, watch lovers, for we bring you Smarthome's latest wristwrap, whose secret life is as a 256MB flash player. Personal Tech Pipeline got their hands, or rather wrists, on the device and found some issues with it: the convenient ZipLinq cable retractors on the (too short) headphones pull the wires down unnaturally, and the volume control is made difficult to manage by having to share button real estate with the fast forward and reverse functions. We're going to have to agree that ultimately the $189.99 pricetag isn't going to make this product so attractive as an MP3 player, but if you've got the cash to spend, it would be kind of, um, handy to have a wearable USB
flash drive.
