LG delays first five megapixel cameraphone
Not that it makes much of a difference to anyone outside of South Korea (yet), but LG has pushed back the launch of their first five megapixel cameraphones until May because of a "small glitch" that was discovered with the handset. LG
have been talking a big game when it comes to mammoth megapixel cameraphones (they claimed they had a
six megapixel cameraphone in the works late last year),
but they're still seriously lagging behind archrival Samsung, who busted out the
SCH-S250, the world's first five megapixel cameraphone, almost six months ago, and have already been showing off a seven megapixel cameraphone, the
SCH-V770. Anyway, LG says that their five megapixel camera will have "real camera" functions to distinguish it from Samsung's, and have a "unique swivel design."
