Report: Cellphone pr0n worth $113 million in Korea

Lest we think the Korean cellphone industry is savvy about hardware only, here's proof they also know where the money is when it comes to mobile content: according to a recent report, South Korea's three top cellphone service providers — SK Telecom, LG Telecom and and KTF — took in about $113 million from porn last year. According to the study, by the Information and Communication Ministry, about half of all Korean cellphone customers downloaded mobile porn at least once. (No comments from the peanut gallery about which half, please.)
As in the U.S., politicians in Korea have begun to lobby for ways to shield minors from adult content — or at least to itemize it on their bills, so that parents will know what their kids have been screening.
