Sony bumps the Vaio A to Sonoma with the A600
Sony's slowly been making the rounds around their Vaio laptop lineup with Sonoma upgrades, and the latest we've got to work with is their decked 17-inch widescreen Vaio A600. You can configure one with up to a 2.0Ghz Pentium M 760, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display, 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, dual-layer DVD burner, Gigabit Ethernet, and all the rest of the stuff you'd expect would make the 1.8-inch thick beast weigh in at a hefty 8.8-pounds.
