LaCie's Bigger Disk Extreme 2TB

Yeah, we know that LaCie already announced a 2TB external hard drive back in January, but they've already got another 2TB bun in the oven. Besides the obvious cosmetic differences between the newer Bigger Disk Extreme 2TB and the older Biggest F800 2TB (the Bigger Disk Extreme 2TB looks slightly more styled out, not that you probably care), there a few other important differences between the two drives,
like that the Bigger Disk Extreme 2TB has slightly faster transfer rate (85MB/s vs. 80MB/s), supports RAID 0 (and RAID
1 for mirroring two Bigger Disks), and has FireWire 400 and FireWire 800 connections, while the Bigger F800 2TB
supports RAID levels 0, 0+1, 5, and RAID 5+hot spare and offers both FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 connections. Also clearly in evidence: the imminent breakdown of LaCie's nomenclature.
