Military uses FPS that shoots back
Forget about your Dooms and Halos. For a real first-person shooter experience, the only way to go is with a game that shoots back. For real. At least that seems to be the way the U.S. military is going. Texas-based VirTra Systems has developed a combat simulator for the military that zaps players with electric shocks if they don't take down their enemies quickly enough. Don't recover quickly enough to hit back? Get ready for another shock. While the technique seems to make sense for the military, we can't honestly say we're eager to try it out ourselves — though we'd be willing to give a networked version, where we zap our opponents, a serious try.
