Apple moves up 320 spots on the Forbes Global 2000

Congratulations are in order. Apple wasn't even in the Top 500, coming in at a pathetic 762 in

last year's
Forbes list of the largest companies in the world. But
this year, Apple's market value of $36.66 billion,
$9.76 billion in sales and $510 million in profits helped move them up to number 442.

The Forbes 2000 ranks the biggest, most powerful public companies on the globe.

Way to go, Apple!
