EA secures NCAA football license

When you already own exclusive rights to the NFL licenses for the next five years, acquiring NCAA football rights is like water under the bridge.  But even so,
welcome to the state of licensed football.  The EA-state.  The powerhouse publisher has secured the usage of NCAA football brands for six years on both console and portable systems.  The deal begins NOW, with NCAA 2006 scheduled for release this summer.  Hate it or love it, EA's on top.
