Gizmondo price drop, but there's a catch…

Gizmondo Europe Ltd. announced that a new version of its handheld would be available in the UK on April 22nd, highlighted by a £100 price drop.  The new version will include exactly the same features as the standard model.  So what's the catch?

The new Gizmondo will be Smart Ads-enabled.  Smart Ads, you ask?  That's right.  Up to three advertisements a day will be delivered to your Gizmondo, and since you can't purchase a Gizmondo anonymously, the ads will be targeted towards your tastes, presumably.  Now that's dirty.
