Remington's Eye Ball R1 omnidirectional spycam

Outside the punny name, we're not sure what Remington's Eye Ball R1 does too much differently than any other government-grade remote monitoring system—but we can't think of too many you're supposed to roll, toss, lower, lob, or throw one into a crime scene where it can keep an, uh, eye on villainous goings on. The omnidirectional R1 transmits streaming audio and video up to 600 feet with a 28-foot IR/night-vision feature and 2-hour battery life. Not bad you're going to have to be a mite clever to figure out a way to get a baseball sized device on premises without arousing the attention of expectedly jumpy criminals.
