Internet hunting now a federal issue
So it was apparently going too slowly to take this whole internet hunting issue
state by
state for Virginia Representative Tom Davis. This week he took the issue to the federal level by introducing a bill that would make any hosting of internet hunting services a crime punishable by up to five years in prison. The bill is being backed by an unlikely coalition of heavies such as the Safari Club, the NRA and the Humance Society (and how often are those three on the same side of the table?), and isn't likely to see a lot of opposition as it moves through Congress.
