Korea's KTF announces winners of cellphone design contest

Here's proof that you don't need to be Jonathan Ive to come up with sleek electronics made out of shiny white plastic. Korea's KTF held a contest to design new cellphones based on the theme "Cell Phone of Sensibility," with a focus on usability and style. Winning designs range from the aforementioned white plastic model (with what looks like a
very large screen) to one with a keypad that looks completely unusable (so much for sensibility). No word on whether any of these will be commercialized — or whether the budding designers will be compensated with anything more substantial than 15 minutes of fame.
