Actions, and Widgets, and Plugins, Oh my!

Nothing makes me happier than downloading new programs for my Mac. With the advent of Tiger soon I will be able to download three whole new kinds of bundles of bits for Powerbook: Automator Actions, Dashboard Widgets, and Spotlight Plugins.

Let me be the first pundit to say that Apple is leading the pack on this one. Open up the power of the Operating System by building easy to use hooks into the OS that people can use to create their own cool stuff, that's cool. Allowing people to freely share their creations, now that's brilliant!
