UK scientists developing contacts to prevent myopia

British scientists are working on contact lenses that they believe will halt the development of myopia in young people. The lenses will vary in strength across their surface to limit eyestrain and maintain a better fit and feel.
The developers hope to be able to produce lenses that can be worn by myopia-prone children as young as five. We think they'll be able to produce the lenses; we wish them luck getting kids to wear them.
