We've got a sneaking suspicion a lot more of these things are on the way after last week's
Telabria AP-3G and the
StompBox: EV-DO to WiFi bridges, or better yet, straight up PCMCIA card based gateway solutions are totally the new black. They're a no-fuss no-muss way to get 3G to your laptop, and even split the signal to all your friends and co-workers without any messiness. And since it's being sold by EV-DO Coverage (disclaimer: they are an Engadget advertiser) who knows, maybe they can even
double-barrel that thing for you until Cingular gets that
HSDPA network rolling.
