The WEEE Man freaks us out

We know perfectly well what a scary 20-foot tall, 3-ton dismembered robot made from gadgety waste is supposed to symbolize (ok, if we must discuss, it's supposedly the amount of electronic waste each citizen supposedly produces in their lifetime), but that doesn't mean we approve of taking a robot's image for granted. Can't we just try and get along? Afterall, one day robots will rule the world, so we might as well get cozy with 'em now. Anyway, it's not like we're going to stop buying new gadgets, so maybe they should just quit the public postmodernism, power the WEEE Man up and let it rampage London's South Bank already.
