Apple Mac Freak Finds Home Sync

This one comes to us from our Tipsters out there (thanks, Caius), applemacfreak.com (is it me or is that just a tiny bit redundant?) has dug into the belly of Tiger and they found something fairly interesting.

Remember when Apple briefly spoke about having a feature called 'Home To Go,' which would allow you to sync your Home folder across a bunch of different Macs (most thinking that it would use the disk mode of the iPod to accomplish this)? Then Apple took that information off of the website and has never mentioned it again (the first rule of Home syncing, don't talk about Home syning). Well, it seems that Tiger has a non functioning preference pane called 'HomeSync Preferences.'

I'll let you draw your own conclusions folks, Apple Legal frightens me.
