Punch-Out!! sighting leads to new rumors…

Joystiq tipster, Kevin, spotted something curious on www.nintendods.com.  If you look closely at the title image, you will see a small Nintendo DS that looks to be running the NES classic Punch-Out!! on the top screen,
while displaying an image of the original NES controller on the bottom.  Oddly enough, Nintendo applied for a
"Punch-Out!!" trademark last month. 
Hmmm...

Now rumor has it that the Big N is planning a compilation cartridge that will include dozens of NES and SNES
games.  Apparently, you use the touch screen to browse a digital catalogue of game titles, and then drag the title of your choice onto a mini NES or SNES to play.  This could be hot, if true.
