Another Xbox controller pic?

We saw some pics of the Xbox controller a few weeks ago that looked a bit like a blurry cross between pics of a game console controller and shots of some top-secret entity hidden away in Area 51. This new pic floating around is a bit clearer in the visuals, but it's sort of unclear why there's a cable protruding from it, as we well know by now the Xbox controllers are gonna be
sans wires. This is likely a prototype of some sort,
though very similar to the earlier pics (other than that spurious connector), so the final version might not be terribly different — unless, of course, it's a
decoy...

UPDATE: Our source has confirmed that this is indeed a prototype, and that the actual controller is a "big brother of that".
