Intel and Sprint get jiggy on WiMax
The Intel WiMax media blitz we foresaw has been moving fast the last couple weeks, and they seem pleased as punch to announce Sprint as being their latest partner in crime. Sprint was already a member of the WiMax Forum, but got bumped up to the standards-muting Board of Directors, which has more than a few implications. Does that mean we'll see a Sprint-operated WiMax rollout in the future, or WiMax capable Sprint handsets? Here's to hoping, but let's get that 3G network up and running first, 'mkay guys?
