Boingo puts WiFi in the air

Boingo has just announced a partnership with Connexion by Boeing that will give in-flight WiFi service to Boingo customers. To promote the service, Boingo is giving new subscribers a free in-flight Wi-Fi connection (a US$29.99 value) when they sign up for a three month commitment. The service currently covers Connexion by Boeing-equipped flights from Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines System, Japan Airlines, and ANA and Singapore Airlines. China Airlines,
Korean Air, Asiana and El Al Israeli Airlines also hope to offer the service this year and Boingo says US domestic flights should be coming on board "soon".
