Mac Gaming: Either Side of GTA

Remember back at the end of my first week blogging here at TUAW, when I first angered our readers by promoting violence via a post about GTA San Andreas? Well, today I thought I'd try to one up myself.

If you're looking for a game that is more morally reprehensible than GTA for its overuse of violence and complete disregard for all the social mores that make society work and keep us from beating each other to death and throwing dung from trees like some sort of Yahoo, then look no further than the Postal series from Running with Scissors. Postal 2 has been available for a while on the Mac and, according to Inside Mac Games, Running with Scissors just announced that they are releasing a new single-player expansion pack, called Apocalypse Weekend. No price yet, but it's set to ship by the end of the month.

If, however, you're looking for something a little more akin to GTA Lite, then you may want to check out True Crime: Streets of L.A, which Macworld has given 3 mice.
