Toshiba updates Gigabeat line already

So it's been less than a month since Toshiba dropped their
Gigabeat F-series players in the States (F10, F20 and F40), and they've already introduced a line of newly updated models using new hard drives that make use of the latest and greatest perpendicular recording technology to pack more storage into a lighter and smaller casing. The F41 is 10 grams and 3mm slimmer than its predecessor, the Gigabeat F40. The new line has also got a software update to include photo viewing features, and a new software package called ROOM to handle photo management and transfer. The F11 (updates the F10, natch) will roll out in three colors, the F21 in two, and one choice only on the F41 — all should ship out end of May/beginning of June over in Japan.
