Music from the road less travelled

I'm always on the prowl for new (or new-to-me), iPod-worthy tunes.

CDRoots looks like a great place to find some interesting new "World music." The site is a treasure trove of music from exotic locales such as Tuva, Belize, Mali, Serbia – even Canada ;-)

It even has a shuffle mode!

The Outside the Roots section also looks great for finding music that "blurs the boundaries between folk, roots jazz and rock."

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to check if iTunes has any songs with high-powered electro-soukous machines available for download.
