Sony defends the delay of the PSP European launch
Sony has made a statement to press in defense of the
delays on the European launch of the
PSP. They're still saying it's gonna hit on
September 1, and they're also saying the decision to delay the launch was warranted: "If we had launched in Europe before September, then we would not have been able to meet demand." Right, thanks — we're sure European gamers are completely mollified now. Anywho, when it does finally hit, it'll be going for £179 in the UK and 249 euros elsewhere, which executive VP of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe described as a "killer price point." At about 30% higher than its counterpart in the US, it's a killer,
alright.
