Apple shopping for Replay TV?

File this under 'Totally unsubstantiated rumors' (those are the best kind), but ReplayTVBlog.com thinks that Apple might be interested in buying ReplayTV based on some comments that Steve Jobs made at the D Conference.

Apparently Jobs admitted that Apple wouldn't mind making a 'Tivo like' device and that they are exploring their options. People have long been pondering when Apple is going to come out with their next piece of consumer electronics and it seems to this humble blogger that some sort of Tivo like device would be a good idea.

Though I'm just a blogger, I'm not the CEO of a large corporation let alone of two.
