Fetch FTP client gets long-awaited upgrade

I have been using Fetch for as long as I can remember. It's always been a basic "get the job done" application that just worked when you needed it to and stayed out of your way when you wanted it to. Fetch hasn't had a major update in 4 years, though. As a matter of fact, it hasn't had any update at all in almost 3 years – until today.

Fetch Softworks has finally released Fetch 5.0.  Fetch 5 adds SFTP (Secure FTP) support and a new user interface. Other new features include
"automatic support for StuffIt, Zip, Tar, Gzip and other common file formats, Automatic Passive Mode for improved server and firewall compatibility, faster file transfers, Bonjour (Rendezvous) support, Unicode file names, Dock progress, improved AppleScript support, and extensive online help."

Fetch 5 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.2.4 or later (including Mac OS X 10.4).

Single-user licenses are $25.
Upgrades from pervious versions of Fetch are only $15, and customers who purchased Fetch after March 9, 2005 are eligible for a free upgrade. See the website for additional details or to download the 15-day free trial.
