Nintendo rakes up DS dough

Nintendo has nothing to complain about when it comes to the DS. The dual-screened unit has helped them more than double their year's profit. Net profit soared to Y87.42 billion from Y33.19 billion a year ago. The hot portable was part of the reason, and the weaker yen was, apparently, the other part.

This should go a long way to dousing the ever-hot "Nintendo is going down!!!" meme. At least for this fiscal year…
