Atrua Wing: A touchpad for cellphones

Not sure whether we buy their claims that the Atrua Wing, a new mini touchpad for cellphones, MP3 players, and other mobile devices, is "better than a four-way keypad or four-way joystick," but Atrua VP Carl Temme claims that it'll start showing up in handsets beginning next year (they're already in talks with a bunch of the Korean cellphone companies). Bonus fact: the touchpad, which also doubles as a biometric fingerprint scanner, is powered entirely by the electricity that's generated when you rub over it with your fingers.
