Sharp's LC-65GE1 65-inch LCD TV goes on sale in August
Definitely not the world's largest LCD TV given that Samsung bested everyone with that
82-inch panel they unveiled this past March, but in a couple of months Sharp's 65-inch LC-65GE1 will be the biggest LCD TV you can actually buy. They've just announced that the LC-65GE1, which has a resolution of 1,920 x 1080 and a built-in HDTV tuner, will hit stores in Japan beginning in August (retail price: ¥1.68 million/$15,520), with North America and the rest of the world to follow by the end of the year.
