Samsung SPH-A940: 2 megapixel with 2x optical zoom

Camera phones with optical zoom are still fairly rare — especially in the cellphone backwaters of the U.S. — so we're glad to see that our favorite government leak, Deep Throat the FCC, has posted some info about the upcoming U.S. version of the Samsung SPH-A940, a CDMA phone with a 2 megapixel camera, TransFlash expansion and 2x optical zoom. Sure, we're still waiting for the promised U.S. edition of Sammy's 3.2 megapixel, 3x optical zoom
SCH-S230 phone, but, hey, it's a start.
