IBM pissed at Apple? No way, says one analyst
You know how when you get dumped and you go around telling everyone how you were sick of the other person were going to break up with them anyway? Yeah, well after officially getting ditched by Apple for Intel earlier this week, there's at least one analyst who thinks that IBM isn't losing any sleep over this and that the real reason behind the split is that IBM had sort of already lost interest in the relationship. Boris Petrov says that IBM wasn't making very much money selling PowerPC chips to Apple and had been wanting to get out of making chips for personal computers in order to focus its efforts on its new chips which are being used in both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
