Korean schools learn a little cellphone etiquette
The Seoul Office of Education is distributing leaflets on cellphone etiquette to elementary, junior high, and high schools. Etiquette amongst kids must be a real challenge in a country where cellphones sport multi-megapixel cameras,
speech-to-text, music players, surround sound speakers, digital satellite TV, GPS, etc. For example, guidelines state that schools should install "a box" to hold students' cellphones during class, kids should reduce usage to avoid
"addiction" and use their allowance to pay bills. Ok, fair enough...but we think there are some other obvious ommissions:
bubble gum will not increase coverage area, one-handed texting causes blindness, and above all do not lick, insert or otherwise ingest.
