NASA's Lumelsky demos robo-skin flick

We were all cool with writing a followup on Vladimir Lumelsky's NASA research work on robotic skins that "feel" tactilely and provoke locomotive reactions, but then Lumelsky and NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center had to go and release this totally wack video of a "ballerina" dancing with an obviously suggestive looking "robot" (or whatever that is shrouded in a black cloth that only moves in two planes with a single joint). The whole thing comes off like an eastern european sci-fi porno shot on what appears to be a VCR camcorder from 1987 than it does taxpayer dollars hard at work. Seriously, are we missing the point here,
