Ok, maybe it's a little cliche, but there occasionally comes a time when you need to get the hell off the horn, and you just can't get so-and-so on the other end to shut their pie hole. Enter the Sound Alibi—play one of six obnoxious noises into your mic (including standby faves: "loud static", "police sirens", "crying baby", and the classic "car crash") so you've got the perfect excuse to interrupt that convo. We doubt it'd work more than once or twice on your friend, but it's nice to know that society's lack of phone etiquette now even extends beyond those immediately around you to those you're actually on the phone with.
