Personal biosensor being tested by Air Force

The Air Force is currently testing a new field "biosensor" which can detect in minutes if personnel or equipment have been exposed to a biological agent. Air Force Special Operations personnel must first spray the suspected contaminated area and then inject a sample (by way of swab or other suitable device from their cosmetic kit) into the hand-held DNA Capture Element instrument, or aptly named "green box." The LCD then reports the concentration of the material present with red, yellow, and green diodes indicating the threat level. See your friendly recruiter about their early adoption program.
