No new Treo until 2006?

Are we going to have wait until next year for palmOne to bust out a new Treo? BargainPDA is officially passing this one along as unconfirmed speculation (which means that we are, too), but supposedly there are some reports floating about that palmOne won't release the next Treo until some time in the first quarter of next year. If true (and again,
this isn't necessarily reliable info), that'll mean that palmOne is breaking their running tradition of introducing a new Treo every October, but it would square with the lack of early info about what the next Treo is going to be like.
As you may recall, it was right about this time last year when we started hearing the first legitimate rumblings that palmOne had a new Treo in the works (which at the time everyone was calling it the
"Treo 610", though it turned out to be called the Treo 650), but apart from some evergreen rumors about them adding support for EV-DO or that they're working on a Windows Mobile-powered smartphone, so far we know almost nothing about the next Treo.
