Tell your friends: don't listen and drive
According to one Johns Hopkins University psychologist, apparently the reason people have such a difficult time talking on their cellphones and operating a moving vehicle simultaneously can be attributed to the fact that the driver must split their attention between both a primarily visual and primarily auditory task at once. See, it's just that simple. Thanks Johns Hopkins, for inspiring us, Engadget, to launch our own study to determine why this study would prove talking on a cellphone should be differentiated from holding a conversation with a car passenger. And when we're done, we'll file it with the Department of Totally Obvious Science, too.
