Shuttle's XPC SD31P
The small form factor PCs just keep on coming from
Shuttle; the latest is the XPC SD31 which is notable because it supports Intel's Pentium D dual core chips via the installed 945G Express chipset. So, not only will it look sweet on your desk, but it should be able to keep up with its bigger tower-shaped cousins on most tasks.
Except for games, that is, unless you upgrade the video card via the PCI Express 16x slot (that built-in Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 just won't cut it for most gamers), but at least Shuttle's new partnership with Creative Labs has let them build in a Sound Blaster Live! 24bit, so things should sound pretty good. Look for it in mid-July with an SRP
of 370 Euros.
